Dr Banky runs a weekly Urgent Clinic from his new rooms at Glen Eira Road, Elsternwick every Friday.
The Urgent Dermatology Clinic is dedicated to treating patients who have skin conditions that are of the upmost urgency.
These may include:
- diagnosis of concerning lesions on suspicion of skin cancer;
- management of identified skin cancers; and
- acute skin eruptions.
Bookings for the Urgent Clinic may be made by your GP telephoning or faxing a referral to Dr Banky’s rooms.

On receiving a referral to the Urgent Clinic, Dr Banky’s staff will contact the patient to arrange an appointment for the next available Urgent Clinic. Patients are seen as soon as possible.
Please note that for patients who see Dr Banky during an Urgent Clinic, it may not be possible for him to conduct a routine skin check. If a full skin check is required, patients may need to schedule a separate appointment at a later date. Please discuss this with Dr Banky during your consultation.
